March of Dimes Home and Vehicle Modification Program
March of Dimes Assists in funding for Home or Vehicle Accessibility.
The Home & Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP) was established by the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) in 1999, and is administered by March of Dimes.
HVMP provides funding for basic home and /or vehicle modifications.
Consumers who meet program criteria can apply for grant funding:
* Up to $15,000 lifetime maximum for home modifications
* Up to $15,000 every ten years for vehicle modifications
HVMP delivers approximately 9 million dollars per fiscal year to meet the needs of people with physical limitations in Ontario.
Applicant Assessment
People seeking funding from the HVMP may complete an Applicant Assessment Form online or may request one via telephone. (For more information, or to apply for funding, Click Here

Submission of an Applicant Assessment Form initiates the process of applying to the program. The process is designed to collect consumer information to qualify an Applicant.
Qualified Applicants will be requested to complete a Modification Proposal.
Recycled Equipment Helps Fill Requests
Some equipment does not meet the funding criteria. In addition, any equipment above the maximum amount is not covered with the program. SILVER CROSS may be able to fill your specific need with quality, gently used recycled equipment.
