Farmer Trades Stairlifts for Ceiling Lift

A farmer from rural Kansas with a neuromuscular disease had three recycled stairlifts in his home, which SILVER CROSS-Kansas City installed over a year ago.

His condition has progressed and he has asked us to provide an overhead ceiling lift to make it easier for his wife and son to do basic transfers for him. We took his two stairlifts as a trade-in, and in turn he purchased a demo model portable overhead track system that allowed them to go on vacation.

Upon his return he told us it worked so well that he wants us to put up a ceiling track in his bathroom to simplify bathing, etc. Happy motoring to our farmer friend!
