Key Questions
Weight and height of client using scooter? Is scooter being used in apartment or house? If in apartment, what is the length of elevator? Is scooter to be used mostly outdoors? Ability of client to transfer to seat of electric scooter? Does client have leg flexabililty problems? Does client have any hand use problems?

- Electric scooters must fit user in seat size and leg room.
- If the scooter user is over 250 pounds, then certain models are necessary.
- If you plan to transport the scooter in your car, SUV or van then this will assist you in determingn which model to select.
- If you plan to spend most of the day in the scooter seat, then specialized seating may be desired.
- If transferring an issue then seat height of electric scooters is important.
- If user has leg flexibility problems then the space for the feet is critical.
- If user lives in apartment then elevator length and space in apartment is key for scooter use.
- If scooter used mainly outdoors then larger tires (10") better.
- If the user's ability to grip is limited then avoid knobs for release mechanisms.
