Meet The Key People
Bob Harvey is the owner and CEO of Privax Canada Inc and Privax USA Inc.. Bob has lived in Burlington, Ontario for the past 25 years and is married to his wife of 32 years, Christine. His son, Ryan graduated from Columbia University in New York with his Masters of Architecture. Ryan continues to work part time in the business with web based issues. Both Christine and Ryan were an integral part of the successful launch of SILVER CROSS in 1993.
Deborah Baker works along with Bob at head office and has been with the company for over ten years. Deb knows all parts of the business and is a personal friend of both Bob and Christine. Her son (now a doctorate candidate in Montreal) went to school with Ryan Harvey since kindergarten.
Ed Lamoureux was the former President of Rolls Royce North America and VP of Westinghouse with an extremely extensive business background. Ed has been a consultant to SILVER CROSS for almost 10 years and is currently assisting in both screening potential franchise candidates, and in strategic planning.
Brian Chuipka is the President and owner of The Achievement Centre. He is devoted to helping companies develop better business results. He is a Time Management analysis and specializes in Strategic and Succession planning. His background includes formal training in sales, leadership, corporate planning and consulting. He has worked with such organizations as Prudential, Pitney Bowes, Winthrop Laboratories, Squibb Pharmaceuticals, Telemedia and Canon in both the USA and Canada. His greatist strengths is building relationships and helping presidents, people and companies succeed. Brian assists SILVER CROSS franchisees in meeting their goals, planning, succession and focusing on the key themes to make their location move to the next level in success.
John Rosenberger was the first SILVER CROSS franchisee. He has a teaching degree from Queen's University and lives with his wife, Christine and their four sons on a hobby farm just outside London, Ontario. John does the franchisee training and continual support of new locations.
Each member of the head office staff have a variety of University degrees. Our most successful location is an owner with a nursing background.
The three key people in the training process are Bob Harvey, John Rosenberger and Deborah Baker. All have sold a million dollars of products over the past 10+ years and have been personally involved in each and every aspect of the entire business.
