SILVER CROSS has assisted over 165,000 clients since 1993. As one of North America's leading providers of accessibility lifting equipment, our mandate is to "break the barriers" caused by stairs and entranceways. Accessibility in private homes is our main focus.
Home accessibility products include:
* Stair Lifts - Losing accessibility to all levels of one's home due to not being able to get up and down your stairs can be solved by installing a stair lift. It is a simple solution and a viable alternative to climbing the stairs. Independence can be maintained by means of installing a stair lift. No structural changes are required. Stair lift models vary to fit the specific needs of each client and application.
* Wheelchair Lifts - A vertical platform lift is a less costly alternative to elevators or unsightly ramps. The most common models are exterior grade with or without enclosure. Portable models are also available.
* Residential Elevators - Home elevators can be retrofitted to existing homes if sufficient space is available. Most residential elevators are installed in new homes with the long term goal of providing accessibility to all levels of the home.
