In 1993, SILVER CROSS' first location was in Oakville, Ontario. Bob Harvey, founder of SILVER CROSS started the company from a small office on the North Service Road. The first few years, the Oakville office handled customer inquiries for wheelchair, scooters, hospital beds, walkers and bath equipment from a wide geographical area. Each year, another SILVER CROSS location was opened as the service gradually expanded across Ontario. Stair lifts, home elevators, ceiling track lifts, dumbwaiters and walk in bath tubs were added to the product mix as the product offering exanded to dominate the accesssibility market in the Greater Toronto area.
SILVER CROSS Newmarket is an ADP vendor for manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, walkers and rollators and scooters. They are also a Veterans Affairs, Greenshields and March of Dimes provider.
